‘All gears secure. Over.’
‘Roger that. Come back in. I have something to show you. We have more work to do.’
‘If it’s not an emergency, is it okay if I stay here for a few minutes?’
‘Just make sure to hold on tight. Two minutes. Over.’
In the far distance is a dot that is barely visible to our human’s eyes, especially through an astronaut’s helmet.
‘Stop stargazing and come back inside. Captain has started to give all your work to me.’
‘Phil. Have a look outside. Do you see earth? Do you miss them as much as I do? It’s beautiful out here.’
‘I can’t. I miss them too much. I hate paperwork. You know that already. Come back inside.’
‘Phil, just look outside for a moment.’
‘What? You can’t even see home can’t really see much from this far. Earth is only a dot.’
‘It is.’
‘What’s the point then? Are you home sick already?’
‘It’s just a dot yet my family’s there so many live there.’
‘Come help me with the paperwork. Hey Captain. Yes, he’s still outside.’
‘Only a few can appreciate the story of a dot.’
‘Yes captain. I’ll tell the dreamer him to come back in.’
‘Yet even the ones who can see it still brushes it aside like dust.’
