Two song birds reside in a cage suspended in the air by a metal chain. The birds barely see each other in the pitch-black room, only relying on the faint glow emitted from the golden cage.

One bird cowers in the corner while the other latches onto the ceiling, prying the chain open.

“Leave it alone. We will fall.” The one in the corner looks through the bars at the endless darkness below them.

“We won’t fall.” The cage rattles. “Trust me. We will fly.”

“We can let it be.” One bird cries.

“Or we can fly.” The other unhooks the chain.
